The engagement party took place at Splendid Hotel Apartments (Did I tell you that if you are coming over Dubai on a tight budget-Go to Splendid Hotel Apartments or call me - I know the Manager, lol) and friends (mine but suddenly, ours) came to join us on that day. It was one of the best parties in my life. Everybody had a good time.
Beamer and I was talking about marriage even before he came to Dubai. When he arrived, he gave me a silver 3 zircon ring. He called it, the Prototype Ring. The ring though is big therefore I cannot wear it. Beamer gave me a silver necklace with a heart & lock so I can wear my ring.
The ring is a promise of love and devotion. I am happy to have it, kept on the recesses of my being.
Most recently, he opened up the topic of my ring and he said that he will buy me the real deal next month. Well, just in time for my birthday huh?!
I am elated, exhilarated, happy, joyful and ecstatic! Yay!
I know My Beamer is saving for that ring. The idea itself that he sacrificed good sleep and to be well-rested just to buy me a ring is very romantic. I am so loving it!
